Man...wouldn't want parenting to interfere with your texting:

How is this lazy?
To me, any reason to get people outside more is a great idea to me.

Hell, i just bought my kid a hoverboard to spend more time outdoors.

Could the same be said about ATV owners? Get off your rears and get walking?

Take the blinders off. Paint it camo and it's your game recovery vehicle, your decoy hauler! LOL

Well you're on to something there.
Buy the stroller and a hoverboard for the parent. That way they can take their kid for a 'stroll' and not do a calorie of work.
First thing...I can see the first time the onboard computer screws up and precious little Johnny in his auto stroller goes rolling into traffic.
Or the parents that will see this as a great way to be able to take their kid for a stroll while they ignore them and text all their friends.
I'll stick with my original thinking...just because we can invent something doesn't mean we have to make it.
Splitting the atom...that's worked out well for the world, hasn't it.

My father in law has the same thing for his golf bag. I think the tech has been around for a while. just a matter of time before it was on a stroller

From the article:

Quote:
She went on to say that for the digital era we live in, having an intelligent stroller with certain features that hook up to your smartphone, “makes perfect sense.”
Makes sense until the first reports about hacks or collected personal data come out and people will rant again. Or that some tech nerd could remotely control their baby in the stroller...

I find this horrible. No matter where you go, you see more and more kids trying to get their parents attention who both stare at their smartphones while their child wants to talk or show them something, getting nothing but excuses while mom and dad tweet or facebook. Noticed that at the Stampede where you can see all the animals, plenty of kids trying to talk to their parents who were busy making selfies and texting, completely ignoring their kids. Unless they tell them it's an emergency like going to the toilet, no attention from parents.
Gimmicks like this stroller will only make this worse.

It's a good world when we can worry about this!

And does anyone jog with their kids in a stroller? It's hard to do without swinging arms, so he'll if you can afford it why not!

Probably a lot safer than the cart pulled behind the bicycle.

As for the ignoring the kids while texting, I'm sure that's already happening.

Kinda like mom on the bench talking to her gal pal and the kids playing in the park. Before the phones.

You don't need new technology to be a bad parent,
That's inherited.

Or a good driver!

Seems people can't look to back up anymore, change lanes nor pay attention to stop their car. I guess the vehicle has to do it all, nowadays!!

Was at a light the other day. Turned green, one car in front of me. Im a patient dude, but after 4-5 seconds i give a quick honk as i can see the lady is looking at her lap. Well.... she holds up a finger, and not the middle one , her index as if to say " give me a secund" hand back down (finishes a text message) then takes off. Literally a 10 second wait.... try it at a green light, brutal. Would have been less upset with a middle finger but the " hold on" index finger!!! wanted toncommit murder.

I think it's kind of slick. Just some new tech to spend your money on.
I saw a fellow with a kind of skateboard yesterday called a "One Wheel". Big fat wheel in middle of skateboard that is battery powered. Can go 30 kms an hour for 10 klicks. Costs 2000.00. If you havent heard of it, try google. It's pretty slick.

The stuff that people come up with amasses me.
