Small de-capping pin

Anyone know where i can get a small de-capping pin? I bought the 6.5CM Lapua brass and it has a small flash hole. All i have are the regular size pins with my dies and universal die, that works for the Hornady brass but not the Lapua

Anyone shooting 6.5x47L or other small primer rifle that can advise?

Call your die manufacturer and they will send you one. Its been my experience that they like to help solve problems

I used the Lee universal decapping die with my hornet brass. Works fine with my Lapua 6br as well.

I tried my buddies lee decapper, it opened up the flash hole. Ive sent a email to Hornady. Hopefully they can send one

I just ended up sanding mine down to the right size for my Lapua 6.5CM
I believe its .059, it didn't take much to sand it on a drill or a lathe if you have access to one.

I use an RCBS universal de-capping die on my Lapua 6.5x47 brass. No issues with mine. Is the CM brass different?

I just sanded down my Lee Decapping pin. I have deprimed thousands of 308 Palma brass since then with no issue.

Its the same flash hole as the 308 Palma brass
0.059 (1.5mm) vs 0.079 (2.0mm)
If you used a standard decapping die, you may have enlarged the hole unless your decapping pin is .059 or smaller
