Default Who runs a go pro mounted to your bow?

Hey, looking at the go pro session 5 for mounting on the Hoyt to hopefully record some memories this fall. Looking if anyone is running one or what you recommend. Like the session for the simplicity and compact size.

Thanks

I'm using a handlebar mount it mounts to my beestinger nicely but move if it gets a good bump I like it on the stabilizer because when I draw back in the video you can see the end of the arrow an BH come back

I've had a gopro for years but haven't used it much. I'll be mounting it exactly as pictured above.
Just waiting now on my amazon order for the mount

I use a sportsman mount attached to my riser. This way its out of the way and I never really notice it. Also keeps the weight down being closer to riser if you are finicky about bow balance.

Have you tried the I-Kam glasses ? I'm on my 5th year with them and no issues. They take great vids and the audio is superb. Also, they don't interfere with any gear you are using which makes them very practical in any hunting situation. Much less expensive as well.

I much prefer the head mount, after a couple seasons of using my go pro I have found the videos are better on the head mount as I always seem to follow where the animal is going with my head and eyes opposed to letting my bow down after the shot filming the ground (when mounted on stabilizer). Just my 2 cents.

I've been using a head mount with my go pro, instead of having it attached to my bow. This lets me keep my bow still and yet still get footage of animals, since the go pro sees what I am looking at, not what the bow is facing.

I have the handle bar mount on my stabilizer but have been thinking about trying the head mount as well.

Default Head mount almost perfect.

I have tried the head strap mount. Works great, the only thing I have not figured out how to solve yet is actually filming the shot. My bow obscures the target while aiming and the seconds after I release. Maybe I need to go higher or on the side of my head, but that feels a bit distracting.
Also turning off the led lights and beeping is probably a good idea.

Issue with all bow-mounted cameras is actually getting the shot recorded. Follow through usually causes you to loose the target in the video frame.
