The store is open and I stopped in to see what was/is happening. Lady said its kinda difficult to predict the future...things are kinda tied up now in probate/wills etc. But the business is for sale and there are a couple of interested parties right now. So its going to be a while before there is a definitive answer....but they ARE open now.

That’s good news. I knew Sam and have been in his store many times. If there was something you couldn’t find anywhere else, Sam usually had it. Always gave me the best deal on what I was looking for. Bought a lot of ammo from him over the years. Too bad Sam is gone, Provost is going to miss him. I know one thing, I wouldn’t want to be the one to clean the place up and do the inventory. Always get a kick out of the cats sleeping in the front window of the store. One time he had a big box of those green work gloves in the store. I reached in to grab a couple pairs, and there was a cat buried in there having a nap. That was good for a laugh.
