Thumbs down Reality is hard when you're orange.

Trust Edmonton to double down on the dumb idea they started back in March.

What about the environmental footprint.

All those lost tennis balls polluting the parks.

What happens if someone ate greasy bacon… grabbed a weighted tennis ball, coyote eats said ball and chokes to death. Who do I sue?

My cousin used to be the response guy to any wildlife calls, for the city, he does have some story's, now that unit is not there, there was a lady in the milk creek area that had a hard time with crows and mag pies, after his visit in the early am no more crows of mag pies to see, he was a great shooters back then with some low noise ammo, not my story it is his story

Isn’t it nice these earth savers are giving the coyotes some balls to play with, I was fixing some fencing threw a claw hammer at one it ran 50 yards sat down.

Gave me that is “that all you got look “

I’m sure the local archery club would be happy to help

Sponges soaked in sardine oil then squeezed small and wrapped then froze would work well. Remove the wire or fishing line and just start tossing the frozen sponges in the river valley and ravines. Coyotes would just seem to disappear.

Can these folks be convinced throwing higher speed projectiles may be more effective?
Coyotes aren't stupid, couple of times and it's business as usual.

Fish cop friend once told me about being called out for a hornet's nest in Calgary, the lady wanted them relocated to the country.

Yep, that works! It’s unreal some of the brainstorms these bunny huggers come up with. I’ve personally taken well over 1100 coyotes from the area around where I live, and they just keep coming. Probably more around this year than ever.

I'm surprised they aren't talking about closing off the walking paths to human encroachment in the coyotes traditional territory.
So true.

The wing nuts that came up with this idea need to be smacked over the head with bag of potatoes preferably frozen. I predict this will work just like homeles shelters has solved homelessness or like safe injection sites have solved drug addictions or how banning firearms will stop people from being shot.

Anybody dumb enough to volunteer in doing this is just as nutty as the bunny huggers who came up with the idea. Especially in this weather.

I wonder if this group of volunteers would be willing to look into helping keep people safe from our exploding Grizzly population....

Nah. Know lots of city folk that don’t agree. This is part of the anti hunting movement and Eco nut movement that is across the country. Lots of country folk don’t like hunting for instance.

We can agree however.

These people are nuts.

Mind ya.

Do you have to throw the weighted tennis ball by hand or can one use a high powered slingshot?
