Picked some Cesar's up for my nephew a while back, just the smell was making me wanna puke. When I saw the flatbread they call Pizza the only thing I could think was "kids today"

Red Rock Pizza in Canmore, Alberta.

I may be biased because the owner is my uncle and two other good buddies; but there is a reason why they are in the top five restaurants in the Bow Valley on trip advisor.

Highly recommend looking them up after a cold day at the ski hill, or after hiking/being in the bush.

I know it's sort of like arguing that McDonalds has the best burgers in the world, but I have a special place in my heart of Pizza Hut. I love that buttery/oily crust.

Here's a tip regarding some "sorta-pizza". Safeway carries premade flatbreads that are cheap and amazingly good For something different try the one with honey, walnuts, arugula, and gorgonzola cheese. Deli section, not frozen.

It has no business being a pizza. No person should have considered doing it.
And yet, it was fabulous. Might be my new favorite pizza. The crust was really good as well, which the only other place I enjoy crust is Two Guys and a Pizza Place in Lethbridge.

Thanks for the mention!
Cheers
Oh you got the pizza! Lol

I was talking about the other one, the real Mac n cheese with bacon, then baked with mozzarella on top.

I used to work at a Little Caesars for 3 years. It was my first job. If you can get a fresh pepperoni, they are pretty good. If it sits more than half an hour it tastes like the box. I always got a kick of the guys that ordered a pepperoni for delivery. The cost went from $5 to $12 for the exact same pizza, with the cheese layered differently.

My daughter came over with a couple of Domino's "thin crust" pizzas or whatever they call them.

UGH!

Just sayin.

Derwent pizza is the best pizza. Plus their prices are low for the quality. Worth the drive to eat there.

We like Nitzas in Sherwood Park. The chicken ranch is great! There are two locations. The one on Ridgeway is the best. He does a ton of community support too.

Tillys in Tofield is good to. Used to order from there when we were passing through.

We have been eating pizza at Zambelli's in Edmonton, now also in Leduc, for 25 years. Have to give Derwent a try.

Good to know! Whats the name of it now, for future reference?

Edit: A quick Google search comes up with Halfway Pizza's Facebook page. Based on the reviews Im guessing this must be it. Pizza fans owe it to themselves to check it out if its anything like it used to be.

Tops makes a great pizza, but I'd still give Two Guys the nod for best pizza I've had.

Ahh... thank you! Totally missed it.

I've tried that place. They pile it on. It's thick and the cheese is easy to eat. Sauce is good. Definitely a good one!

Cochrane AB, still waiting nothing really worth mentioning.
Edmonton region has way more none chain options for all kinds of foods.
For example Mama pizza, royal pizza, Miami pizza back in the day, st Albert steak and pizza used to be great.

Top of the list for Pizza and steak so far

Mountain Steak and Pizza

Just got a notice that this restaurant will be close until further notice as Papa Baldy has passed.

The wife and I were to have date night there.

Saccommanos in Edmonton is very good, and the Village Pizza at the Village at Pigeon lake is also a good one.
