Another vote for Derwent pizza. Also they still serve the beer with alcb glasses, and still have the terrycloth round bartable covers. Like going back in time about 30 years or so. Great motorcycle day trip out from Edmonton through Two Hills, stop at Derwent for lunch then trip it back. Same goes for out of Lloydminster. Lots of snowmobilers head out from Vermilion during the winter to have lunch at Derwent as well.

Not what it use to be. Especially considering you'll probably get mugged walking in.

Versatos gets my vote. How do you argue with a great crust loaded with meat toppings shaved thin and fresh sauce creating a pizza that weighs 1lb per slice?
You can't. Unless your my mother.

Not a contender for 'Best Pizza' , but I'll throw a bone to Flyin J's in Nisku.
For gas station pizza I gotta admit, I'm very impressed.

Youre eating two pizzas at the same time? You should stack them... pizza sandwich in each hand.

Esso on Highway 21 is also a contender. The one halfway between Sherwood Park and Camrose.

Nobody in Calgary mentioned Bonasera's Pizza or Sammy's Chop House.
Bonasera's is bloody expensive, but the best pizza I ever had.
Sammy's runs a close second, almost as excellent, and is cheaper; but I'm sorry to say it always gives me heartburn.
I'll still eat Sammy's though when I'm there and worry about the consequences later.

I'll let you the next time I head there.

The mac 'n' cheese - it's like this;
It has no business being a pizza. No person should have considered doing it.
And yet, it was fabulous. Might be my new favorite pizza. The crust was really good as well, which the only other place I enjoy crust is Two Guys and a Pizza Place in Lethbridge.

Thanks for the mention!
Cheers

Default Orlandos Pizza

Orlando's 1 in Castledowns in E-town is by far the best I've had. Can't say it's the best in the province since i haven't had pie from every single place but it is REAL GOOD Pizza!

If you live on the north side of Edmonton you owe it to yourself to try it out.

2 large loaded pies are about $30 and can feed a family of 4 for 2 or 3 days
