Default Benchmark and Basis

Sorry but you have to try " Bad Tatoo " in Penticton to set the benchmark.

Pretty well just like in northern Italy.

Without a correct benchmark people are fishing in a fished out lake.

The 2 for 1's in Vegreville and Devon are pretty decent.

The sauce is the secret, in my opinion. I don't know what they do in Vegreville....maybe a little cinnamon, but the owners in Devon are devoting time and energy to developing a number of different sauces, including a meat sauce. They also have BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, and donair sauce options.

Was in Kimberley this last weekend on a golf trip. New restaurant there called Stone Fire Pizzeria.

Baked in our 900 degree Stefano Ferrara wood fired masonry oven our Neapolitan style pizza is like no other, crispy and charred at the crust, yet soft in the centre. It is typically meant to be eaten with a knife and fork or torn, folded and eaten by hand and like everything else, it's best enjoyed with friends and family!

I know it's not Alberta but very tasty indeed!

Tonys pizza on 111ave-96st is a authentic and probably the best pizza in edmonton. Not cheap but worth the price.

Very valid point as Berger stated. I’m in the same camp as you. Not once sober. Chicago Deep Dish was also a 3AM staple. Until the Pizza 73 just south of Whyte by the cop shop was discovered. We were there often enough that the manager would give us a ride home after we finished ingesting the booze sponge. Shameful times. My god. Sorry for the derail OP.
