Default Super Bowl Stream 2022...Want American Commercials

The only time of the year we watch football... mainly just an excuse to down some cold ones and stuff my face.

I'd like to stream an American channel, so I can catch their commercials.

How the heck do I do this ??

I'm already running a VPN, but here's my problem.

It's through NBC this year, and yahoo sports app also has it.

Using Google chromecast from my phone.

- NFL app doesn't permit streaming to an external device, so that's out.
- NBC app AND the yahoo app require location to run, but when I allow this it picks up my actual location, despite the VPN being set to San Francisco.

How the hell do I get around this ?? Can't stand the thought of suffering through our country's finest commercials...

I guess most if not all people got more to worry about than someone needing a commercial binge.

Yes, but with the demise of Locast there isnt much out there, other than youtubers running the game online.

I heard truckers are heading there. Might not be much to watch.

I never understood the fascination with the Super Bowl commercials but “ to each his own”.
I usually record the game and start it 45 mins late so I can fast forward thru all the commercials.

All the commercials are on YouTube after.

If you have the know how you can change you DNS server setting to make your app think you are in the states. I used to do this to watch USA netflix.

I've since ditched cable all together and now run a Skystream box with Atomic installed. We can watch pretty much watch any channel in the world. I think we have about 200 NBC feeds to choose from.

My buddy loves busting my chops for being a die hard CFL fan, he's a die hard No Fun League fan.

I told him it speaks volumes about the product on the field when most people tune into their biggest game of the year JUST to watch the commercials.

I gave up on the NFL when that racist goof started kneeling. That was it for me.

When the commercials come on it's time to hit the bathroom, refill the beverage and get more munchies, personally I can't stand the commercials, our lives are bombarded by advertising, it's getting sickening already.

The US Superbowl commercials are good for a laugh we can't see them for a reason I really don't understand because in a few months we get them anyway?

Super bowl commercials for the last 7/8 years have stunk so I don’t get very worked up over them! Go Bengals!

You must not have watched the past couple weeks of playoff games. I don't know if I have ever seen that many good football games in a row in my life. Hope the SB lives up to that as well.

Enjoy the game

I'm going to try running a VPN off the laptop instead of my phone, sign up for YouTube TV (two week free trial) then cancel after the game. Don't know how else to get the higher quality video feed otherwise...

If you are able to get what you want on your phone, and your phone is an android with USB-C charging port, run out to memory express/ bestbuy etc. And get a USB-C to HDMI adapter, plug the USB into phone, HDMI into TV, problem solved.

That’s for sure. I think all most of the playoff games this year went to the final play to determine the winner. It’s great to see an older quarterback that everyone thought was washed up (Stafford)lead his team to the final. Seeing how well Joe Burrow is playing is also good to see. The future looks pretty exciting with good young players like him.
I couldn’t even watch the CFL this year. The Edmonton Elks is not an intimidating name. Even though they have the last coach to lead them to the championship back, I can’t get excited about them anymore. This is the guy that jumped ship the day that they won the championship. Plus it was the only league that lost a whole season due to the handling of the covid fiasco.

Commercials during regular programming is why so many folks are "cutting the cable", choosing streaming instead.
Commercials during sports programming is time to get up and grab another beer or a snack, or use the bathroom. Extra effort in the making of Superbowl commercials is toward keeping you on the couch instead.

It's no coincidence sports programming and regular network streaming don't coexist. If you want to watch professional sports, soon you'll need a streaming service such as MLB TV or DAZN.
Cable and satellite tv will soon become as "yesterday" as rabbit ears and tv towers. And what killed it? A need for less greed.

I'll likely abstain from watching the Super Bowl again this year, as all indicators are pointing less and less to the game, and more to superfluous wokeness/diversity/inclusiveness.

The drinks and snacks part of the game is always good however.

You tube after the fact is probably your best bet.

Lol at people turning a question about commercials into pushing thier political stance.

It's in Los Angeles. A couple more vehicles on the road won't even phase them. Traffic is a way of life there.

Easier to see them after the Superbowl, without watching all the prima donnas playing. Don't think I've watched an NFL game in over 30 yrs, too boring.

I got all the American commercials watching the game on Telus... CBS KIRO TV out of Seattle, Telus 135.

They were better as always than Canadian content, but only a few were really good.

I've watched the game using a VPN, but I also had to change some settings in my browser for a better VPN session, you have to turn off all the tracking options, plus you have to clear all your cache and cookies

I was working so only caught the second half. From what I could tell there were some good commercials on just regular cable. I will have to pull them up today on YouTube and see how they were. Dr Evil one I saw was good. Got a good chuckle out of the one with Kyle Lowrey, was funny.
The game turned out to bet pretty good game. Cimci had it, but let it slip away.

I watched the game from our house in Arizona. Couldn't care less about the commercials. Don't know what all the fuss is about. When the commercials and the halftime show come on, I either switch the channel or do something else.

None of them are anything to write home to mother about , this year. Pretty pathetic.
