Default What would you do in this scenario

Curious to hear some input. I hunt a few different properties that are hit by lots of elk and deer. Most years the land has left over crop or bales of hay.

Crops will vary from year to year but the animals are always consistent. This year the land owners plowed the fields leaving nothing behind.

Im curious to hear what the elk may or may not do. Will they still visit as its something they do every year or will they be moving on elsewhere. Am i wasting my time on these properties since theyve been plowed over?

They will move on to a different food source.

They might still bed down there if they feel safe out of habit and if a good food source isn't too far away it might actually be a good spot to catch them coming back or sticking their heads out in legal light. But as berger said very good chance they moved on. First time they get harassed will upset their whole routine, sounds like an opening day kinda spot. Good luck.
