Default Cadomin Hot Rocks/Slaughter Access

Hello!

I've read lots about all the great rams around the mine including the hot rocks, slaughter ridge, and tower but am struggling to locate these places on a map and how to get access. My brother is a non hunter but enjoys hiking and photography so I'd like to get out with him and get some pictures of rams. Seems like a good way to spend a weekend now that hunting season is over.

Thanks in advance.

Turn in at the mine entrance. Drive in until you see the building then keep following trail to a small area to park. That is the trailhead to slaughter and hot rocks. Access to tower you have to go threw townsite

Dont get off of the designated trails through the mine. Two guys did during the late hunt this year and had a CO waiting at the trail head for them that evening.

x2 on the Hot Rocks access.
Access to Tower is just South of the Cadomin townsite. There is a gravel road on the West side that goes up a hill to a clearing. Road turns into more of a trail from there up to the gate entering the mine site. Sheep are further back I found by the large hill on the right side of the trail.
Snow might be getting deep out there, snowshoes might be a good idea....
