Default Holy!! -25 here .... in Oct!!!

Yup.....

Supposed to chase geese n pheasants......

But I’ve now learned about this thing called a throttle position sensor..... if it messes up, your transmission does wonky stuff.....

I think it’s the wiring to the connector and not the sensor itself..... but I’m not gonna work on plastic parts when she’s this cold......

*snap*!.........%#€^>!!!!!

So.... coffee time it is then....

Boy winter showed up fast n hard!

A few years back I had problems with the throttle position sensor. Came back to the truck and all it would do is idle. What to do. Put it in low and thought I could slowly drive back to town. After a few km and the motor warmed up the sensor started to work again. So maybe try it this afternoon when it warms up.

Agreed. Wet summer to the nicest fall we’ve had. To early cold. Then back to warm. Very odd

I remember my first car, a 1969 Lotus Cortina.
I swear to god I kept it running with a pair of pliers and a Swiss Army knife...and it never left me stranded.
Now before any major trip I say a small prayer to the God of electronics 🤬

Yeah I miss being able to fix it on the fly...... mine was a 1970 beetle chopped fenders.... oversized tires..... rat pipe add a come-along and 5 bucks of gas and you were good for the weekend ..... off course when it got cold you got cold as the gas heater was not good for much other than noise
