Default Trunk Road

Hey I know this is kinda a general topic but thought I'd give it a try, gonna go and fish it this year and had some questions. I just want to know what are some of the better rivers on the northern portion of it? I would also like to know how far u have to go to get to the spits to fish?

Thanks to anyone who answers!

If you can find a copy of "The Trout Highway", most of your questions will be answered.
I have read it cover to cover several times and never fail to learn something new, each time

If by northern portion of the Trunk Road you mean north of highway 16; don't waste your time. Most of the creeks and rivers between Muskeg turn and highway 43 have extremely high levels of sedimentation due to industrial development. You would be better off sticking with highway 40 where you can hit up Jarvis creek, Wildhay, Little Berland, Fox Creek, Berland, Cabin Creek, Muskeg, Lone Teepee, Smoky, Sheep, Prairie, Kakwa, Wapiti and others.
