Default Pictures of your self Camo Rifles

Hi everyone,

I was looking at some of the camo options out there for my rifle. I saw the dipit system, but I have heard of guys just buying a few colors of paint and doing it themselves.

Can someone of you list your custom paint jobs.

Thanks much

That's nice! Someday perhaps I'll have enough rifles to designate one "my winter rifle".

I think you can see the barrel better in this one.

I'm going to try digital camo on my 17. I'm going to use krylon paint, 3 or 4 colors. There are some great how to's on the net. I want to try it out on my 17 first before I do it on my more expensive rifles. Basically, rough up the stock a bit with some steel wool, to give the primer/base coat somthing to stick to. Then lay on your color/colors. I'll post a pic when done. Ihave seen the dipit kits, but can't stand the feel of it. To smooth feeling for me, feels like pop bottle. And the coating scratches very easy I find, can peel it back with my finger nail. At least with paint, can just touch up all the battle scars!!

No whitetails with it but a lot of coyotes. I do have an old Vanguard I'm eyeing for my next Foose rifle

Yah i used krylon on it, and let it cure for a week or so, then a few layers of Krylon ultra flat clear coat and it is a real tough finish.

I quite like this one.

I like the white too, but I want it with some color.

I have the 6.5x55 Tikka synth and I just want to make it look nicer.

Thanks

This one was experimental winter camo on an air rifle.

This one is my .223 yote gun

This one is a Stevens 200 plastic stock, using a combo including Krylon spiderwebbing paint.

Although not camo, this is was my .308 bench rifle - "spidey"

This one, I did for gramps.
