We drove to Waterton a couple of weekends ago and stopped in Mountain View on the way. The lady in the store told us the lake was open already - that was Feb 15th.

Default You went out on the ice????

Are you one of those crazy ladies that was fishing out there last year when there was only 2 inches left at the most? They didn't even use plywood!

This was Payne 2 weeks ago.

No bloody way would I ever be on that ice..your really risking your life.

Please be careful. I'm betting it's opened up this weekend again.

With the nice weather coming up this week, is it possible to camp here or is it closed?
