I thought if you look at the angle of his leg to his body it doesn't seem to change but rather his entire body was going in a direction. I didn't think it looked like his leg had a kicking motion but more of a stopping motion but hey never know. As for earlier I thought edm could have had a couple of penalties with interference as they just weren't really moving their feet tonight

That PP is dynamite but man gotta generate more goals other ways if they want to go further in the playoffs when teams gameplan for it alot more over a series. German seemed off tonight as well, and he has gotta start being a plus player more

I see one leg stopping and the other moving towards the puck in the direction of the net. If he was stopping that’s the worst 2 foot stop I’ve ever seen !!!! Only reason that leg is there is to kick at the puck. He almost does the splits to get that leg over there. Horvat is a savvy player he knew what he was doing. Sad that the war room gets fooled.

Think of it as slowing down then, not stopping. I think the deal breaker was he positioned his foot before the puck got there, so he wasn't actually kicking at the puck.

Probably have a similar tv as you, the difference is I didn’t purchase the homer goggles.
The league over the last 5+ years has been allowing players to direct/angle the slate to put the puck in the net. He was clearly in the process of stopping/slowing down and angled how skate to direct the puck.
The league doesn’t want players skates flying around in the air in a big swooping motion which is why they only allow direction of the skate (blade staying close to the ice).

As for the too many men, that could have gone any way, but because the player who jumped on the ice was immediately involved in the play the penalty was called. And yes I noticed the player leaving the ice was only 6 feet from the bench.

Sure there was the typical missed calls against, but as a oiler fan or a fan of any team those are the only calls that seem to go in noticed when I’m sure there were just as many on the Vancouver side.

Homerism is a real disease, I think I’ve been cured and I hope some of y’all can be too!

Yup. They were saying that 7-10 years ago it wouldn’t be a goal. Today it is.

‘Twas the night before Christmas and all thru the Halls
Soiler fans were dreaming of Lottery Balls

Reminiscing about Halley, Tenderness and Yak
They soon realized that’s why they were at the “Cap”

Long long long ago, the Oil won Cups of Gold
But the fans who saw that, they are very old

After a Decade of Darkness
Even after drafting His Tenderness
You could hear Mark say to McJesus-“It is quite a Mess”

‘‘Twas the night before Christmas and Dead Moose has no balls
He loaned them to Treliving, to try entice Taylor Hall.

One lonely banner hung in the dome
I know for certain it will always be alone.

Flames fans wiggled, in their crusty old seats
As visions of an arena could not get complete.

Dead moose cheering in his panties so tight
Johnny Hockey has winked at him what a sore sight.

When all of a sudden down on the ice arose so much chatter .
Fans jumped from their seats to see what the matter

There on the ice curled up in a ball was Chucky the turtle, While Kassian the Oiler laughed and stood tall.

Stay tuned ..,

Stay tuned ..,
It was going so well.. Until the last bit... Kinda like your team.. Starts off great and then reality hits and you just can't get the job done. LOLO Actually I laughed at both jokes. Moose, you have to tone it down.
Merry Christmas you guys. The horse race is just starting!

Thanks for all the laughs from each of you this past year. No place else has the wicked sense of humour and hockey smarts that this place does. I am a member of the Vegas knights board. OMG, The thoughts some of those people come up with is enough to make me sick. You guys know what you are talking about and I appreciate it.

Thanks everyone.

Ok you bunch of Pansies......

I have a 26 OZ bottle of Crown says that the Oilers loose tonight.. Who wants this action??

The real season starts tonight and for the first time in what seems like a decade you guys can watch hockey that actually means something!!

You must all be peeing your pants a bit?

Have to say that I am concerned that you might not be watching hockey that matters after the All Star Break if this fall off a cliff continues. (3-6-1)

So, who will step up ?
