Fisher Grrl:
Great pics and your stories are always so well told.
Your previous trip report to the coast made me think I was there as I read it.
Really want to fish the coast with the wife, you just add more fuel to the fire.

another great trip Amber .. Karma to you for the teaching .. put a bead head on and go down for the Rocky Mountain Whitefish in those holes or even sinking tip.. on Obed its hard fishing for the Browns as in x fish per hours
its almost time for you to start writing for a magazine or video for TV to give a Lady's perspective
thanks for sharing

Last weekend Curtis, Remo, and I loaded up the Safari van and set off to the northern logging roads for four nights. It was exactly what I needed! No cell service, no game plan, no civilization. Just rods, good friends, hundreds of rivers, and a trusty rusty ol van . Every day we hit new rivers and every night was a different "squatting spot" on the banks.

Great Pics!
I do the same thing every year with an old high school buddy, headed out in 2 weeks to great slave lake and area for 7 days of freedom. I think its the best way to fish, no plan just go, and fish every single spot of water found!!

Congrats on your first grayling on what looked like a great road trip.
My first grayling was caught out of the Little Smoky using a spinning rod. Beautiful fish.

I agree with Speckle55. You gotta get writing for a magazine or something. Great pics / story. Keep them coming.

Well done! Grayling are very pretty fish and very fun to catch. Another great story. If more threads were done like this, it would be very enjoyable reading for everyone. Keep up the good work! GN.
