I have had a 25hp since 2011 I think, hasn't missed a beat. Super quiet and pulls hard. Ran a bit of sea foam thru it last year seems even stronger now
Can't beat the etecs- ran the skidoo's with them also.

My brother in law has a 25. I love it, starts first pull every time, has loads of power, flogs itself, and best part is that you can legitimately troll slow with it. It would be my 1st pick, 2nd Suzuki.

We have 4, 2-25, 2- 30 solid engines no issues.

They push SSV 14 lunds loaded with moose and hunters and fishermen.

I bought the two 30 this year 10 year warranty.

The two 25 are 2011 vintage.

We change plugs and impellers every three years.

Zero issues thus far.

Easy on oil and fuel.

Lots of shoreline and rivers to fish and hunt on Lake Nipigon.

Big water with big seas with little warning sometimes.

Sometimes 25-30 miles from camp.

Dependable equipment required.

Fog them when pull them out splash of Seafoam in first tank in the spring.

June ice out Speckled Trout fishing to late September early October moose hunts and pre-spawn lake trout fishing with walleye in between we put lots of hours on them in cold water and weather.

Some friends that join us have Mercs and Yamaha both impressed with performance and fuel economy.
And no oil to change.

Clean gas and only worry we have is picking next spot for the shore lunch.

I know it's not a 25 but I've been running a 50 tiller since 2012.
Have a tac in my boat, manual says it should rev about 56-5800 rpm
I can only get 5250, head to the coast at sea level and its up to 5600.
That extra rpm sure gives it more snap.
Great motor, zero issues..knock on wood.
