Default Trap shooting and shotgun fit

Good evening,
I’m looking for someone who can custom fit my shotgun does anyone Medicine Hat, Lethbridge or Calgary do this sort of work? Also I’m looking for somewhere that I can take some lessons on trap shooting in the same general areas. No matter how much I practice the worse I get!

Andrew Harvison can be contacted through Silver Willow Sporting Clays. He is an experienced gun fitter, and a qualified coach for the clay sports.

Inquire at the Calgary Firearms Center for coaching in trap.

If you join the ata and go to some of their shoots you'll have lots of help of very good shooters and have a lot of fun doing it. Curious to know which ones you're missing? Or missing all of them.

Seems to me I always stood at about 45 degrees to the trap house and when I shouldered my gun I aimed about 16" below the roof of the trap house. You're stance is very important so you can swing thru easily for the hard left and right. I found that aiming low on the trap house provided lots of time to acquire the bird. Another thing to think about is your follow thru. Lol. Easier said then done.
