My Personal Best Lake Trout.

I caught this early season of 2015 while scouting new areas! It had a length of 42 inches! Didn't do a girth (I SHOULD'VE) weighed it in the net, approx 35 pounds. Thats a pike tail sticking out the mouth, it was quite a big pike, so much so it had its rectum protruding..talk about obesity! Caught on a bondy mini wobbler.

Beauty fish but that bondy does not even have line tied to it...what did ya actually catch it on?

Although a secret conspiracy theory is more exciting ........ there have been a few fish where I have unhooked the swivel snap to the lure if it had become tangled in the net, another line or side of the boat etc.... then removed the hook.

OR

Use he used a Pike as bait ............ just kidding ....

He posts lots of pics on instagram, everytime there is a bondy hanging out of the fishes mouth with no line attached to it. Pretty funny...they must be paying him good coin!

Anyways back to the issue at hand- beauty fish!!!!

Haha. I wish. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to pictures. If the lure is attached to a leader it doesn't make it any more believable, I could add any lure to that leader. I prefer no loose line in the boat hence the removal from the leader
