Taking a youth fishing

Morning,
I'm hoping to take my 5 year old son out this weekend to get him hooked on ice fishing hoping to have the opportunity for a chance at some nice perch or good pike on tip up. Although I've researched the Gulls, Sylvans, Pines, Cows, Burnsticks, Crimsons and Phyllis of the world I'm a bit unfamiliar with the lake system within 1.5 hours of Innisfail as I'm from NE Alberta. I'm not looking for honey holes but if anybody could provide a lake or two that I should target so i can get him "hooked" I'd greatly appreciate it. Feel free to PM. Thanks in advance for your time.

What ever lake you decide, be prepared. It's not IF your son puts a leg down the hole, It's WHEN. If your perpared you won't have to go home.

^x2. Bring grocery bags to put inside wet boots and a couple pairs of dry socks. Try doing a hotdog roast or something to keep their interest going.
