Gas checks before or after pan lubing?

For those that have more experience.......

Do you put the gas checks on your cast bullets before or after pan lubing?

Thanks for any advice.

Before , if not lube will work its way on the bullet base . This could result gas check not seating square , that would have a negative effect on accuracy
