I was at Garner a week or so ago and had no trouble driving anywhere on the lake off the beaten path. I've just got a little SUV, not a big truck or actual 4x4. There was no flood water and the ice was plenty thick.

Was at Mons lake feb 3 was pretty good on lake. should have chains or 4 x 4 and no problems on the lake, getting on the lake was a little tricky. Perch fishing was good just wish they weren't some many little ones but still got our limit.
