Default What's happening at Gull

I was thinking of heading up to Gull Lake on Saturday and was wondering how the fishing has been. I haven't seen much reported on here about Gull for a few days now. I'm not looking for a honey hole just a general idea if it's worth the trip or if I should try a different lake.

I heard that there is a backhoe expanding the boat launch next to Raymond Shores RV and as a result this access point is out of service. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks in advance.

Just got home, 10-12 whites came through in the morning, 3 on the board. Dead after that.

Went out to Gull Saturday, south of wilsons

Caught a real nice Burb before I had to head home early due to not feeling well, damn IBS.

Hey a big thanks to all those on the forum who shared info and directions.
I really appreciate it.

Cheers,

Anvil

Went out Saturday and hit Brownlows, Wilson's Beach, just south of Wilson's Beach and the north end off of Raymond Shores.

Skunked! Not even a bite. My worst day out this year. We saw one white, one burbot, one pike and one sucker caught at the crowded area to the south of Wilson's Beach. Action seemed slow for everyone, but seeing some of the threads a few of you had decent days.

I was out Sat aswell and it was pretty slow for the most part.

I was there later in the day and there was a family (Dad and two kids) the kids were rumaging around the ice picking up left over bait ect ect then they come back screaming with a fully intact burbot...then they go in another direction and find a fully intact burbot...whats wrong with people? Killing fish just weeks before they spawn and letting them go to waste these kids found two fish and then another two that look like they were out there for a while that dad took both of the fresher fish so they werent wasted but just imagine what they didnt find!

Not cool
