A decent store will usually know someone that does kydex or leather. Often they even have a box of sheaths.

I make custom sheaths in Calgary. A bit far from where you need one though.

There's a place by clyde(45 mins north of edski) it's a saddle shop , they did work on my leather tool belt, he actually makes knives too

There's an old school leathersmith in an old strip mall on 66 ave just east of 97st.
South Edmonton, near Argyle rd (63 ave) and 99st....next door to the Red Goose restaurant.
Can't remember the name of the shop, but i've had 2 pairs of boot resoled there, and a harness fixed.
I'd bet he could do something like that.
I'll post the name/number if I can find it.

Depending on the size of the knife I could make you a hard sheath out of antler.
Not left rough but highly finished. I am close by. Antler is just a hobby.

Note : I did not make the sheath in the picture. Just to give you the idea.
