I'm trying to grow them this year, too. Hoping I get some. I lost all my pepper plants last year to necrotic spot virus, so hoping that won't be repeated.

Planted some pepper seeds straight into the garden on the weekend.
We'll see how that goes.
Usually plant on may long weekend, but got it in nice and early this year.

haven't cut and tilled in our winter rye (cover crop yet). that's on the list for this weekend along with assembling the drip system. once that's done then it'll be planting time on the may two-four since we still seem to be down around the freezing mark at nights here.
nonetheless some stuff has come up nicely. i guess some of our spinach and dill went to seed last year. tons has come up! tonight's menu was salmon over a spinach salad, next to dilled potatoes.

Why do people like to inflict pain on themselves as they eat?
