So, my uncle got drunk and this unfolded...

My uncle sometimes gets drunk. When he does, he tends to call me over for for crazy jive. Once it was due to a "rabid" raccoon under his porch. It turned out to be a dirty Chow puppy. This weekend he called me. "Zach, get over here. There's a tail-less monkey in a tree."
"I'll be there in five minutes." I told him.

lol...Ground hog will go up trees if something chases them and they can't get to their holes. Normally they don't climb coniferous trees like pines so I'm thinking it was chased up. Also in the spring they will climb trees, hardwoods though, some get a hankering for some nice fresh new leaves.

The ground hogs at our skeet range climbed the fence on a regular basis. We have had to stop shooting to shoo them off of the fence.

When we pulled up there was a pit mix running around. That's probably what happened. Either that or it was fleeing my uncle's slurs.
