Default Bedding a Tikka

I am thinking about bedding my Tikka varmint but not sure how to proceed with the recoil lug. Because it is loose I am thinking either solder or epoxy it to the receiver before bedding. Any thoughts on this?

I used two drops of crazy glue on the one I did for my brother, but I used an aftermarket lug that was likely tight enough to stay put without the glue. I should mention that this was in a wildcat stock, not factory wood - they are made with a pre relieved recoil lug pocket.

If the lug is the same as the dovetail slot type that was used 10 years ago..I firmed up the lug by using an aluminum shim (pop can) on the front side of the lug/receiver slot ...tapped the lug into make it tight ....and then bedded the stock pocket in the normal fashion.

Some crazy glue on the lug and bed as per usual
