Default Johnson lake fishing regulation confirmation

on the alberta fishing guide website the regulations said this:

All Species 0 - Catch & Release ONLY
Trout 1 - limit applies to All Trout species combined (except Bull Trout are Catch & Release ONLY)
Lake Whitefish 0 - Catch & Release ONLY
Mountain Whitefish 0 - Catch & Release ONLY

it says all species limit 0 but then it says u can keep one trout. Wut da heck?

As in Johnson Lake in Banff National Park? If so, head on up there and see how the fishing is.

Parks Canada has banned fishing at the lake and is in the process of removing all of the fish in order to prevent whirling disease from reaching Lake Minnewanka and its tribs. The Alberta Fishing Guide website regs are likely a typo because of the recent change, and the lake is subject to Parks Canada regulations and licensing anyway.
