MDT polymer mag users question

So I have a question for all you MDT Chasiss users out there. I Have one and have the plastic magazine. It feeds well and loads well and I like it.

However the COAL on a 308 is very short, well under what I want to load my ammunition at. I am thinking of cutting the end a bit, have any of you tried this?
