Default 2015 Stone Sheep & Mountain Goat

Just got back from BC from my Stone Sheep hunt. I was hunting with Stone Mountain Safari's and my guide was Derick Stevens. Awesome outfit and awesome guide! Day one we spent half the day getting pack boxes ready for a spike camp at our base camp so we could stay in secret creek for a few days without having to ride in and out each day. After we had our spike camp set up we climbed above it and started to glass it was 15 min to spot this guy. We did a death march and got him 45 min before dark. Hard animal to spot on the black shale mountains. I have never been a lucky sheep hunter so i think I burnt all of it on this ram.
14.5 inch bases 37 inches on the long side and 33 inches on the short. He doesn`t look that big in the pics but his body was massive I am almost certain he had a larger body than my big horn did, he ended up being much better than we had originally thought which is rare for a horned animal. I just liked his dark black cape!

Next was mountain goat we saw tons of goats and I had a chance at a couple huge billies but they were in dangerous spots out of my comfort zone, finally found a nice representative goat in a suicide location and shot him, he climbed into the cliffs and I could only get 95% of the way there unfortunately my guide had to recover him the last little distance so pics were taken below by the trail. At least he didnt fall off the cliffs his cape is perfect! 5-6 inch hair on him as well

"

Saw a huge grizz as well just no time to get him. Great time and would love to go back for moose one day!

He was only 8. We shot him on age as he was to close to call on curl. We were only 150 yards when I got him.

Right on. Beauty cape on him too. Did you guys see much for caribou or big moose on your hunt?

Saw a few caribou but only one maybe legal. He was a neat looking caribou had points and configuration similar to an elk wish I had a spotting scope pic but he would just never slow down. If there ever was a non typical caribou this would have been it. Saw lots of cows and a couple non legal Bulls. The weather got real warm and super windy and that seemed to bring moose movement to a hault. I was hoping to get a moose as well but wasn't in the cards
