I was fortunate enough to have a weasel for the entire winter to keep the mice out. Moth balls work good if you dont mind the smell.

Sounds crazy, but use mouse traps with peanut butter as bait. Works very well.

Once they get in they will always get in,.. UNLESS you find out where they are getting in. I had the same problem with our TT, we went one year thinking we were free,.. nope, next year thought we had the problem licked nope. So I got down on my hands and knees and expand foamed every nook and cranny and also stuffed all holes with steel wool. In my situation the majority were getting in from on top of my fresh water tank through a small hole under the floor which you couldn't see unless you took a partial wall out.
We use a mixture of traps and sticky paper along walls under cupboards and in some drawers.
I am glad to say I am currently free from mice for one year,.. good luck

A friend of mine used bars of Irish Spring soap in his car to keep them out over the winter. Said it worked for him, and likely smelled better than the mothballs we used to use in our old cars. Don't know if it would chase them out if they've already taken up residence. Could always set up a "trapline" as my Dad always called it.

I've been told
That bounce sheets work great. Irish Spring bar soap works for awhile.

Bounce Sheets!!
I've used bounce sheets in my trailer the last 3 years and no mice. I hope the mice don't know something we don't.

Use this stuff to keep them from getting in:
http://www.goodearthenterprises.com/
You can get it at UFA. I use it my trailer and our boat and it works awesome!
If they are already in there peanut butter on traps works great.

Bounce sheets for sure. Stuff them near any openings, if its a motorhome put them in the end of the exahst pipe, around the heater ducts etc.

Mice are apparently very afraid of losing their static cling. I put them (bounce sheets) every were I used to find mouse turds. Works like a charm.
Unless you leave your RV less than spotless. Then you best learn to love mice.
But seriously now I don't think stuffing them in the exhaust helps anything.

I have had my fifth wheel for 8 years now and never a mouse to be seen but I did like one other poster mentioned and plugged off any entrance holes with the expandable foam underneath when i got it. My buddy would park beside me and he would get mice till he found out how they got in and it was thru a small hole by where his water fill line was.
Hear the bounce sheets work well but have never ahd to use them, knock on wood.

Another vote for bounce sheets and a 6 pack of irish spring soap. We leave the bounce sheets and soap on the floor, in the storage cubby holes, in the bathroom - basically spread throughout the trailer. Seems to work pretty good.

Had a friend who started his RV up after a couple of years parked at an acerage. Couldn't figure out why it ran so bad till he found the mice had made a nest in his muffler, drug in a bunch of grain and partially blocked his exhaust. They must have been surprised when he first started it up.

I used bounce sheets as well, but in my case they were all ready in and the bounce sheets didn't work,.. I had to physically find out how they got in.

Another vote for bounce sheets ...... and a large trap with the sticky paper for added security.
I left my trailer on an acreage last fall and winter and not a mouse.

As long as you're going to be patching holes anyway, a gattlin' gun comes to mind...

Never say never but did this friend indulge in a lot of homemade liquor?????? lol It could happen just kidding with you.
Patch holes with steel wool. The furry little buggers cant chew that.

Put in the little "scented cloth/rags" that they sell to put in your dryer at home. Not only does it make the camper smell reasonably nice (at least for missus), it also keeps mice out (or so I heard)!

We had a travelaire which we sold to pappa-in-law. ( We live on a farm and the trailer was stored in the same place) We never had a mouse in it but this spring, he had a major infestation. The big difference is I always took out everything in the fall while dear pappa left a bunch of groceries in it over winter. Don't want mice--clean your trailer!! On the flip side, the nasty little creatures can get in a hole the size of a dime so PLUG EVERYTHING and set a couple of traps. I also put bounce sheets in all the cupboards and drawers so maybe that prevented my unit from infestation....

Just hook it up and go on a road trip through Saskatchewan. Most of the mice will be shaken out of their hiding spots, and the ones that are left will bail at the first stop to save themselves from any further Highway Bliss...

X4 on the Bounce Sheets. Use them all the time, and never had a single mouse.
