Default Eld-x reloading

Has anyone had any experience with the hornady Eld-x bullets with hand loading. I have been thinking about giving them a try in my 300wm in 212 grain for elk just not sure if there worth the money or if it's all hype train.

Just an interlock that's a little thicker with a tip isn't it.

Dubious, let me know how they work for you. I just bought some of the 200gr. .30cal bullets for my 300wm yesterday. I was having a bitch of a time with the Bergers in my Tikka. I never could get any groups that I liked. I couldn't seat the bullets out enough without spending the money for a different mag kit. Even then I've read that people can't seat the bullets out far enough.
I decided not to go with the 212gr. or 220gr. because I was concerned about twist rate and pushing too much weight down the barrel. I think that I should be able to get the 200gr. ones to stabilize without any issues.
I'm going to the range Tuesday so I'll let you know how they worked for me.
