Default Nordegg to Saunders

I am looking into canoeing this strech or the NSR this June. I read there are one set of rapids once you get close to saunders.

I am wondering if it is a safe trip. What difficulty would you rate it? Any advise you can give would be awesome.

If you are into paddling in Alberta, get this book.

That is a great site, thanks for the help.

I will have a look there for some advise. I always thought the best time to go on the river is this time of year when the waater is high. My parents asked me if it is safe due to the trees and debris from run off....and i just dont know. I figured high water = safe.

Rant over. Thanks again!
