Default Pocket primer swager

OK guys what’s your fave primer pocket swager. I’ve been keeping all my surplus brass and it’s time to start reloading it.

Thanks!

The Dillon works well, but they are somewhat pricey.
I have used the RCBS press mounted one and it worked OK, was not really fast.
I have use a manual one (wooden handle and metal extension that was essentially fluted; it worked OK, but if you did more than a few, your hand really got cramped and tired.
I have read that some people use a V-shaped countersinking drill bit, used for wood and they create a V shape that allows the primers to be pushed in. I have not done this but it is supposed to work......I don't know if you run the risk of premature loose primer pockets??

Done properly, you only need to do it once on any particular case.

I’ve used the rcbs on a bunch of 5.56, not the fastest but it worked well.

I've used this by unscrewing the tip, taping the threads and put it in a drill.
Also used the steel countersink method in the same manner.

X2 I gave up swedging primer pockets years ago and started using the chamfer tool on my RCBS case prep machine , however with the amount of good .223 and 308 brass available these days I rarely use MILSURP brass
