The Grande Cache hotel is decent, is right by all the stores and has a great restaurant. You up here for work?

Stay clear of the Best Western way over priced for what you get. That being said you might need to take what you can get. It was a little busy when I was there.

Careful in GC, most motels are actually flea bags. Personally I would call the best western. Defiantely avoid the Bighorn

Grande Cache Hotel if you can get in.
Decent rooms-like said earlier-quite good restaurants.

I have sold them kitchen equipment and trained their kitchen staff in the past.

My last stay at The Best Western goes like this: Room $140/night Heat does not work in the room, fireplace does not work in the room, there is one thin blanket on the bed, window may as well have been open, went for dinner in the lounge spent the most of the night and next day on the toilet.

I couldn't understand the jump in price from Edson where I was paying $109/night either at the Best Western there. The rooms were clean though ar both places. Get prices before checking in.

I stay at the Best Western when working in GC; I'm not worried about the cost as work pays for the rooms.

Thanks for all of your help fellers. I just spoke with my co-worker and he has us booked at the best western. We'll see how it goes I guess. Work is paying so we can't complain about price too much.

Plus if ya stay at the Best Western they have a promo now. Stay 3 nites and get one free. Got to use them before June 30/11. I have 2 free nites now, totally free because my company paid all the others. BONUS. hehe

If your going to be in GC for the family day weekend bring your ice fishing gear! There's a fishing derby being held on Grande Cache and Victor Lakes for the weekend. Just small rainbows and brookies in the lakes but, if catch a fat sucker you may be leaving home with a nice prize

If anyone is in Grande Cache and ever gets stuck without a hotel or there all packed let me know we have 2 spare rooms. We just had a guy stay here who was in a bind like that and was here working.
