Just wondering about putting a profile pic up. How do I resize pictures I have saved on my computer?
They have to be 100 x 100, but I can't seem to get it resized.
I'm sure its easy to do - can someone help me out?
You are best off to use a host site like photobucket.com upload your pictures and you can resize them there. Here is a little info on how to use the site from my watch forum.
All you need to do is start by setting up an account with photobucket.com It's a good idea to set up folders so you can easily access your pictures giving each folder a name.
Once you have done that you can copy pictures from your computer to Photobucket by clicking on upload images and videos, click on the pictures you want and then click on open.
Once your pictures have been uploaded you can left click on img code and the box will go blue.
After that all you do is right click on the blue area and go to copy.
You may have to use either a direct link or IMG code to link the picture to the website as your avatar.
I do already have a Photobucket account, and have so far managed to learn how to post pictures, I just wasn't sure I could make my avatar from my PB account pics. I will follow your instructions and see what I come up with!
click on the pic in your bucket
it will bring up the pic bigger
put your arrow thingy...mouse i guess on the top edge of pic
options will drop to resize the pic
resize
click save a copy
refresh
the pic will be saved...load as a normal pic
