Default Looking for #1

This is my 3rd year bowhunting, haven't had much of a chance to get anything other than 1 opportunity last year but i decided not to take the shot and instead study what the deer would do on the trail i was sitting on.

anyway, tomorrow is my first hunting day out and hoping to get something, but id be extra pumped to see this guy come by my ground blind or my tree stand. Would be a pretty cool first take with the bow. Wish me luck!

Would it ever be a great first! That's a huge bull! hope you get a chance on him! My first bow kill was a black bear, then a whitetail doe. Good luck!

That one is no good for a first bow kill. Just send me some gps coords and I'll take care of him for you

Just kidding. That would be a sweet bull anytime. Good luck! Shoot straight

Didn't see anything this weekend other than a small bull moose this AM while in my tree stand. Hopefully I see him when I go back in a week

if you've got a bull like this in your spot get the hell out of your stands and go get him!
put the wind in your face and walk! bugle every 20 minutes or so and cow call lots. he's not there for the ambiance! he's either got or wants cows! if he comes in TRY and shoot straight!

Definitely go after him. Unless he's the one I'm chasing haha. But I think the body size is bigger. He's one of those Elk you *know* when you see him.
