amazing size on those cutties.
How was the hike? Approximately how many hours to the lake?
I've been to Headwall Lakes, Rawson, Tombstone, Elbow and Lillian / Galatea so far this year

Its 12 km to the lake 1600 ft of elevation It took us 3 1/2 hours or so. The first 8 km to the forks camp ground are pretty flat and easy the next 2 1/2 km is a nice steady clime the the last 1 1/2 km is pretty steep (mind you I'm old and fat).

We did the trip in two days; we hiked to the forks doped our over night stuff there then continued to the lake fished the rest of the day hiked back to the campground in the evening, and hiked out the next day did a little fishing on the upper kananaskis on the way out.

Nice fish! Glad to see they're doing well, was up there 5 years ago and it must have been in a down cycle, hardly any fish.

I saw two size classes both photos are of the larger group, so I assume they were form the 2014 stocking and the smaller fish were about 6- 8'' so likely the 2016 stocking.
