Had to admire his tenacity though.
If the McDonald's brothers would have had that then maybe things would have been different.

You can knock McDonald's for everything seemingly bad about them.
But they give so much more.
As one poster said Ronald Macdonald house,
Who doesn't have fond memories as a kid having a happy meal?
Large employer and maybe more loyal than some oil companies.
I don't remember them pulling stores out of the ground back when Alberta beef had it's problems.

My daughter works there, so I'm obligated to throw out the urban myths about mystery meat ...now the cockroaches, that's another story!

T was packed when I went. Tried the self serve option with the computer, then had a seat. Two minutes later a nice lady brought me my Burgers. Impressive.

This reminds me. I used to broker the transport for McDoalds, A & W and Wendy's. McDonalds got their beef from Cargill the rest from Japan. The Japan beef spent weeks in "frozen" in transit!

^^^^That needed to be said
I bought my 3 burger limit today, even though the manager said I could have as many as I wanted.
Senior coffee with refills is a way better deal than Timmy's

Reminds me of the 7-11 burgers we could get in the late 80's. Dirt cheap, not too too bad and you could load them up with way too many fixings. Great for the 2 am munchies. I don't know how 7-11 made money on those burgers.

7-11 after the bar ... been there !!!

Have to agree that Rotton Ronnie's has to be the cheapest laxative anywhere.
Why bother with Metamucil when a cheeseburger is simply more effective and half the price?

I find the responses here funny.
McDonalds is now at something like 300 billion burgers sold...yet according to forums like this everyone says they never eat there.
Some of you are fibbing

Wendy's claims its beef is never frozen haha. Odd. Plus Japanese beef is good, look at Wagyu.

You're right about that!
I make my own out of fried patties of 2/3 ground beef, 1/3 ground pork and freeze them. I thaw them in the microwave and add the cheese, nuke them again for 20 seconds to melt the cheese, and then add condiments.
Better than Muck Donald's as "fast food" and they don't create a "flow" some time later on.

I'd kill for a McDonalds hamburger right now. Not allowed to eat beef.
