Default Newfoundland moose

So when did they allow hunters to carry a side arm ?Just watched wild tv on a moose hunt and a hunter had a side arm

There is a permit you can get for wilderness carries I believe

It still is illegal to carry your side arm while hunting in Canada with ATC. You need to be engaged in Wilderness work or Active on trapline only. No hunting allowed.

But the guide can carry one for wilderness work, can he not ?

Also atc have conditions attached.
So there is no blanket statement

Tork, guide could carry handgun with ATC. He is actively engaged in his wilderness work, much like a trapper or forestry worker. I am assuming he would get approved by CFO for ATC for that Wilderness activity.

I like to carry a cap gun ....... In a holster....... While on horseback.
Makes me feel like a Cowboy lol. Maybe the dude feels like a Cowboy haha
