Default 663 - Lac La Biche to Jackson Lake Staging Area

I was thinking of an overnight backpacking at Lakeland PP this summer.

Looking at the backcountry map from the Alberta Parks website, 663 from Lac La Biche to Jackson Lake staging area is gravel road.

Living in Edmonton and as I only drive a car (my other vehicle is a minivan) will this type of road require a high clearance vehicle? I don't want to risk driving in roads that would damage my suspensions. ie. Is it smooth gravel? or gravel road with pot holes or bumps through out?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Its fine for a car. Minor wash boarding would be the extent of it. Take it slow and you will be fine.

Been there in my cavalier. However it could be a challenge during a down pour. Watch weather reports.

Road is good even with rain, no problem take your car if you want.

If it has been raining for a while you might have to be a little careful in a car.
