Default update on Ken Hildebrand

I just got back from visiting Ken. He's been moved to the Crowsnest Pass hospital now that his lower leg has been removed. He also picked up a bacterial infection in his blood while in the Leth hospital, so not only is he recovering from the amputation but he's on mega medication and painkillers and in quarentine because of it. In spite of it all he's in good spirits (when awake) and working hard to get through this. I'm thinking a year from now I'll be once again struggling to keep up with him in the bush. I swear the man is half wolverine.

He is one tough customer, for sure.
There was no doubt in my mind that Ken would come through and get back a
at 'er, but MAN, it sucks when you get a curve ball thrown at oyu like that one.

Ken flipped his ATV when out on a trapping foray earlier this year.
he was soemthing like 90 hours underneath it, pinned.
had to eat dirt to stay alive, coyotes trying to close in, all the worst things that can happen to a guy.
