Default Yippeeeeeee

What a great day for selling coyotes!!!!

I have 2 skins missing somewhere I don't know where they are?
I also had one bought back

Other than that I had 43 coyotes and averaged $77.52 U.S

I had a bunch of early and Xtra early as well in the mix.
My top yote wnet for $136 and I had a few in the $120 range. I think my low end was a bunch for $20.

All in all with an Average of $77.52 U.S I am a happy man. All these coyotes were caught in late Ocober and into the later part of November.
I have another 25 yotes and 6 foxes that were caught in December/ jan/ Feb done now for the next sale and I think they will do better. They look a lot better. I hope the prices hold for the April sale.

Next year I will be better at putting my fur up as well. Got a few new things to improve on.

good for you nube. hope other local trappers got a good price. i know everyone was a little worried about what the prices would end up at.
what website do you go to to find out about other fur prices? just curious as to what other species pelts were fetching.

Hey, congrats Nube! You really worked hard this year and it looks good on ya!

I've got a whole 6 yotes to put in so I'm gonna get into the game for the next auction. Something else to learn.....the NAFA auction process. In the mean time I'm feeding off of everyone's excitement. It keeps me motivated.

Thinking ahead.....How the heck am I going to get through the summer looking forward to the hunting and trapping season?

THanks guys!!
My fox was o.k. It wasn't classified as a great fox. It had a small hole as well and i ended up with $38 U.S. I can't complain about that. Especially when I stretched it on a coyote board. I got 6 more foxes since then for next sale and I would bet they will go for a fair bit more than this one.

I just got to learn what I screwed up on them now Red. I know they were worth better in the right hands. Tough part is figuring out where I went wrong.

Way yo go Nude.

Just checked, Avg of 88 on 35 coyotes had one buy back. 59 avg on two fox. Was hoping for a 100 avg but not as bad as it could have been. Looking forward to the rats selling

Yeah prices seem to be holding not to bad I only had 5 coyotes that averaged $96 in this sale and one fox that was bought back. Looks like a few lots are being bought back. Must be trying to prop the prices up? Anyway just wish I had more in the sale. Last year I averaged $110 a dog.

Just talked to a very good friend that average around 92$ US on 200 head and was a little disapointed. He told me he was right around average and he usually is 10$ better.

US dollars

Last year had a better avg but not by much. With the US dollar it looks to be a about the same avg Candian as last year. Had to go back to last years sale account to see that it is better than I thought.

Getting old!! the prices were way better last year

The fox are down as we had a avg 88 on the 6 fox last year.

good luck everyone and high averages
