Default Hello rat trappers!

I was given 2 rolls of 2x2 wire. Is that too big to make submarine traps out of? Can I muskrat squeeze through 2x2?

Thanks

I built a few out of 2x2 wire when I was a kid. I lost a pile of rats but that's may have been from poor construction of the colony traps.

they probably could squeeze through. good way to only catch the big ones.

might be able to double wrap with a stagger. and make a submarine/funnel type.

if its free, give it a try.

Aluminum cladding for insulating piping in the oilfield works great.

Go to peavey mart or princess auto and buy the big green plastic funnels. Cut the end off at desired opening size and wire onto colony trap ends.
