Default Barrel cut and thread-know who can?

Hoping for an Edmonton contact. I have a Remington 597 vtr that i would like to cut and thread. Thanks for any help.

You realize that to do it properly is going to cost more than the rifle did originally? As long as you are prepared for that then talk to Ron Hendrickson. He is a great machinist and gunsmithing metal is his forte.

Default Barrel

Thank you. I will check him out. I just did my 783 for $100, he just doesnt have the ability (fitment issiue) to do the 597.

Thanks very much for me putting back in touch with Mr Ron. I ended up needing a different rifle done. He hooked me right up. No one ever likes those last 4”, do they?!

Glad it worked out. He does do very good metal work, and he is fast as well.



Just to clarify my earlier typos his name is actually Rod Henrickson, thought the contact and location info is right. Jeez I hate auto correct.
