I wouldn't, because it's not a caliber that interests me, but that seems to be the going price.

Doesn't sound expensive to me, assuming condition is VG or better.

If I had 350$ and one was available for 350$ I wouldn't bat an eye. I'd buy it before someone else does lol

Doesn't matter what we would pay for it, the thing is if you want it and you think that's a fair price and that's what the guy wants for it then you should buy it, both you and the seller will be happy.

Enjoy you new to you 30-30 you will have fun with it, and if you change your mind in a year you won't loose anything.

I see it back up for sale for $450

Just kidding!!

I found 2 people with a revolver for sale that I wanted. I messaged them both and they had already sold. You win some, you lose some.

I wish I had picked up one of those Remington Baikals when they were available.

Never ask a bunch of gun nuts if you should buy a specific gun you want that is available to them as well.....lol lesson learned.
Always buy first, then ask if it was a good deal lol

Price is somewhat relative when it comes to darn near anything we are interested in.

I might be willing to spend a heck of a lot more than someone else for a particular rifle or some old vehicle because my particular interest in has set a value for it.

Take an original model 29 s&w - most folks would scoff at the price, but for some...

Or a late sixties Ford Bronco...

Or a turn of the century credenza...

If it's something you want and will enjoy, it's up to you to decide what it's worth to you.

As for Handi-rifles; they have been commanding higher and higher prices for the last number of years. Personally, a 30-30 (if it's in good shape) for $350, if I wanted one, I'd climb over the corpses of my fellow bidders to get it. I've seen them for sale into five bills.

I thought there would be some honour amongst us. Like maybe a pm asking if I was serious about buying and if not would you mind if I picked it up.
But honestly , I am not offended or upset at all My fault for doing what I did and lesson learned. I am just having some fun with this. It wasn't that important at all. Anyways I hope he enjoys his new rifle and would really like to hear about its accuracy. I like the H&R rifles.
Cheers

When I can get a Winchester 94 or a Savage 99 for $500, no I would not pay $350 for a single shot. But I also never like H&R guns so that may have something to do with it.

As far as the Remington Baikals, you can still buy the Baikal version here in Canada.
