Default What is it? Winter trail cam pic

What is it? Got this guy on my camera few nights ago and trying to figure out what it is. Picture isn’t great but I think it’s a Badger?

Give me your thoughts...

Too tall for a badger. Possibly a wolverine

Looks like a Wolverine to me but I haven't seen many in the wild so not an expert.

I could be more sure if the shot was clearer or if it were a video so I could see how it moves. Most animals have a distinctive gait, Wolverines are one of those.

Almost certainly a wolverine. You caught one of the rarest animals in Alberta on
trail camera.

My cameras are still on, hopefully can get a better picture next time. Lots of Linx, few moose, couple wolfs.

The distinctive lighter fur around the perimeter of him is the clue that's what he is. Wolverine!

Argo are they just walking/traveling your skidoo trail or are they going to or from something like a bait pile or other food source, scent/lure. The lynx seem to find that one stick interesting.

Sage, There is no baits or lures what so ever.

Lots of pictures being triggered by rabbits. Based on a healthy rabbit population it seems the Lynx are close too the cycle peak if not at the peak.

Seems they traveling the path of least resistance.
