Big games in the standings.

Win and down by 2 points
Lose and down by 6 Points.

This is our biggest of the year so far. Kinda hoping they push Big Save Dave for s little extra.

That was an exciting, fun to watch game. A trivial thing, but I'm pretty sure Colorado was doing 1 defense and 2 forwards and the guy against Monahan was a foward. I'm sure that was part of the reason Monahan was able to get around him so easily.

Yeah was Andre Burakovsky a LW, wasn't thinking OT where 2 forwards and a D. All in all was a beauty goal haha.
Man if we can get through tonight against a division team, would be huge.

Just looked at the roster. I'd completely forgotten that Bennett was out.

Pick the refs from the crowd?

Monanhan did absolutely nothing there.. So much didn't deserve a penalty. Unless being a Crosscheck to the face dummy is now a call?

Shouldn't he have gotten a double minor then?

How can the officials still mess up a call after a review? 10 different angles slow mo and still eff it up. Swear Wideman is back on our payroll this season.

that was the missed call and review of the century. I’m dumbfounded that the war room and the officials were that blind! The refs at my kids games would have got that right without a review

Wasn't on the dump in, Gauthier brought it out across the line and back in while the the other cane player was still in our zone...

Clear as day on the replay but I am guessing they didnt go to Toronto to review the play as they should have....

It’s a good goal, both tagged up before a Cane touched the puck in Flames end.

This Taylor Hall thing may be interesting. Not practicing with the team and held out of a game. Something must be up for sure. 5 teams in the mix, Oil is one of them I believe. I don't see him going back there, but for both Oilers and us Flames we better hope he doesn't land in Colorado. Like they need any more fire power.

I certainly wouldn't want to mix with the Avalanche chemistry right now. They might try to pick up a shut down defenseman or a goaltender (depending if the Francouz? keeps rolling), but I imagine that will be closer to the trade deadline. Oilers won't bring back Hall, that would be like inviting your ex-girlfriend to your wedding.

I'm thinking he's going to Colorado or Arizona. I doubt a team is going to give away the farm if they can't resign him.

Ha was just listening to Spittin Chickletts and one guy said he put Flames at top of list in the Hall rental for the season. Maybe, I would think he wouldn't mind joining a contender with the added bonus of sticking it to the Oilers, now that they will start playing each other here in a couple weeks.
I still think Aves but we will see, if he's sitting out it must be ready to happen..

Sounds like Hall is going to Arizona for a first round pick, conditional pick, and at least two prospects (one of them being Kevin Bahl, 19 year old L Dman with 20 pts so far playing with Ottawa 67's).

Sounds like I am missing some good hockey. Flames sound like they need to clean it up and stop blowing leads. I see Monahan was on second line in practice today. Ward isn't messing around, produce or play where you deserve. At a point in the season where you have a lead you take it home. No more leaving points on the table.

Well doesn't sound like I missed much last night. Bad case of turkey legs but before the turkey was served. Better bring it on the 27th. Now there is a game I will be sad to miss.
Go Flames Go.

Nice to see a Battle of Alberta game that is loaded with importance for both teams. Regardless of how it turns out, you gotta like meaningful hockey.

Ugh I will miss this one but will be keeping an eye on the score, and here of course haha. 1 point separates so this couldn't have lined up better for meaning. One pull ahead a bit or one leap the other in the standings. Please chat during the game. Lol it's all I got.
