Default Question on a Leica Rangemaster 1200

Does anyone have one of these units? I am helping a friend, trying to figure out if this unit can give true horizontal distances (angle compensation) or not. Please let me know if you know the answer.

Should be able to find out in the User's Manual.

Has to be whatever the number is plus R in order to have, what they call, EHR or equivalent horizontal range - that is, angle compensation. For example, Rangemaster 1200-R. Without that “R”, it doesn't have it.

I believe some of the older models will give you the angle measurement, but you would have to do your own math

I think that makes sense and this unit doesn't have it. Thank you!
